'Healthy soil' is the basis of the organic system.  Healthy soil contains a balance of nutrients, a community of helpful insects and plant organisms, and a good structure that allows the soil to “breathe” and absorb moisture.

With organically nourished soil, your lawn or garden will have no need for 'synthetic fertilizers'.  These fertilizers, some of which are 'petroleum-based' and expensive to produce, do nothing to build soil structure.  In exchange for short-term rapid grass growth, crop growth, or vegetable size, they sacrifice the long-term health of your soil.  The concentrated nitrates and other substances in synthetic fertilizers cannot all be taken up by plants.  The excess leaches out of the soil, which 'pollutes ground and surface waters' and drives away or destroys earthworms, beneficial insects and other helpful soil organisms.

Ants? We have a natural solution!

'Synthetic chemical pesticides' have no place in an organic environment.  They are dangerous to humans and animals, harmful to beneficial insects & micro-organisms and eventually ineffective against pests, which soon develop a resistance to the pesticides’ power to kill.  In addition, many are petroleum-based, making them unaffordable as oil supplies begin to dwindle. ’
